When his California-based company offered to give $1,000 to worthy organization, Scott Price thought about home.

Price used the $1,000 donation from his employer, the Wonderful Company, to help a new generation of Eagles at Harvey get resources they need for success.

“Being a Harvey alum myself—and the fact that my mom (Arlene Price) still works at Harvey as a parapro—I’ve been able to stay in touch with the Harvey teachers and staff, and always enjoy visiting and volunteering in the classroom whenever I visit Harvey during the holidays,” he said.  “I know that school supplies are always needed, so what better way to give back then to give teachers and students the essential supplies they use every day.”

Price graduated from Henry Ford II High School in 2007 and the University of Michigan in 2011.  The Wonderful Company owns Teleflora, Fiji water, Wonderful Almonds and Pistachios, Halo oranges, POM Wonderful juice, and Justin and Landmark wines.
